What should you expect?
This Sherry and tapas tour in Cadiz city is an average of 3:30h hour private tour experience visiting 4 different bars, including 3 traditional tabancos, 1 traditional local bar and the local market of "abastos" (only during morning tours). In a private setting with just you and your family or friends, you can experience the tour in a personal way. We try to limit the group size to 8, but please contact us if your group is bigger.
My name is Carlos, and I am a local foodie, I love local food! I am knowledgeable and passionate about local food and wine and am wine-certified (WSET Level 2) and I am excited to show you all about the local foods and Sherry in Cadiz.
You will learn the process of how to produce Sherry, all the different types of Sherry, local cuisine, and how to do a wine tasting and wine and food pairing. Expect to hear about local traditions and cultural anecdotes through each of the tapas of Cadiz province.
What is included?
This tour includes 5 Sherries, 5 tapas and a wine certified guide. Taste a variety of local tapas such as local cheese, fresh Bluefin tuna, la patatera, bull’s meat, or Iberian pork with sweet PX. Some foods will depend on the season. Tapas are paired with a Sherry, or alternative beverages for children and non-wine drinkers.

Luckily, we are in an incredibly sunny region where rainy days are infrequent (July averages only 1mm of rain in the whole month!).
However, if there is heavy rain on the day your tour is, you can choose a couple of options. Either continue with the tour and we will do the tastings inside, or you have the option of rescheduling to another day or time where there is availability. We will contact you in the event your tour will be changed.
